With a discovery call. It is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where I learn about your project, your home, and what you are hoping for, and we both get a feel for whether we are the right fit. From there, I will recommend the best way to work together. You can book that here.
Every project begins with understanding how you actually live. From there we move through space planning, concept and mood boards, and 3D design so you can see the space before anything is built, then into material selections, sourcing, trade coordination, and a final styling and install. You stay involved in the decisions that matter while I handle the day to day.
Services and Fit
Three, each guided personally by me: full interior design from concept to completion, a focused design consultation, and full-home decorating for spaces that are built but not yet finished.
Both. The majority of our projects are whole-home projects are where I do my most complete work, but a single room or a focused consultation is a wonderful place to start.
Yes. I work on renovations, new builds, and full re-designs of existing homes, from the planning stage through to the final styling.
If you value craftsmanship and materials made to last, would rather invest once and well, and want to be led while staying part of the big decisions, we will likely work beautifully together. It is not the right fit for a lowest-cost or fully DIY approach, or if you would like to weigh in on every small detail yourself.
Pricing and investment
An on-site consultation is a two-hour session and starts at $420. It is the best way to get focused, honest, expert direction on your space, and a great first step if you are not sure where to begin.
Because every project is different in scope, full design and decorating work is quoted individually after your discovery call, once I understand the rooms involved, the finishes, and the timeline. You will always have a clear picture of the investment before we begin.
That depends entirely on the size of the project and the level of finishes. We talk openly about budget early on, so the design is built around what is realistic for you and there are no surprises later.
Timeline and working together
It varies, and good design is never rushed. Every detail is considered, reviewed, and rechecked during planning, because getting it right on paper is what prevents costly changes once construction begins. I will give you a realistic timeline for your specific project up front.
We do deep research and present an initial concept to make sure we are heading in the right direction. If it is not quite right, one round of major revision is included. Once the direction is set, we refine every detail until you are completely happy.
As involved as you would like on the vision and the key decisions, and as hands-off as you would like on everything else. Many of my clients are busy and happy to hand the sourcing, coordination, and day-to-day management to me, knowing their project is in good hands.
I have long-standing relationships with trusted trades I work with regularly, and I am also happy to collaborate with a contractor you already know and love.
Logistics
I am based in Vaughan, Ontario, and work throughout Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. For full-service projects I also travel beyond the GTA, and I take on select projects remotely.
Absolutely. If there are pieces you love or items with meaning, tell me early and I will design around them so the finished home feels layered and personal, not like it started from scratch.
Yes, for select projects. If you are outside the area but would love to work together, mention it when you reach out and we will talk through how it could work.
