HOGAN RESIDENCE

A King City home reworked room by room, from the entrance through to the private spaces. Each room has its own mood, bright and airy in the living areas, deep and moody in the office and primary suite, but a shared language of warm neutrals, brass, dark floors, and classical touches ties the whole home together.

Family Room (full-scale decorating)

The family room is where the home exhales. A soft grey sectional layered with velvet and sheepskin sits beneath a sweeping architectural artwork, framed by light oak shelving styled with warm, personal objects. A round marble and gold table and mercury-glass lamps add the polish. This is the “layered sophistication” upgrade in practice: elevated, but made to be lived in every single day.

Primary Bedroom (remodel)

A primary suite built around rest. A full-height upholstered headboard, worked in soft panel detailing and lit by a warm hidden glow, anchors the room with the ease of a fine hotel, while a carved screen, moody walls, and dark floors make it feel private and personal rather than showy. Crisp white bedding and a boucle bench keep it calm and inviting. Hotel-level comfort, made entirely theirs.

Foyer & Living Room (foyer remodel, living room decorating)

The entrance was made to stand out and to welcome you in. Fluted panelling, a pair of ringed crystal chandeliers, and a large brass-framed mirror open the space and carry the light straight through to the living room. There, under soaring ceilings and an arched window, cream boucle chairs, a soft grey sofa, sculptural bronze tables, and an olive tree keep the whole space bright, warm, and genuinely gracious from the first step inside.

Home Office (redesign and decorating)

A home office with real presence. Sage green built-ins with brass mesh doors and integrated lighting wrap the room, while a pale shagreen desk and a sculptural sunburst fixture keep it current. Classical touches, a David bust, an old-world painting, a globe behind glass, give it soul and depth. Focused and grounded, it is a room that makes a full workday feel like a pleasure.
