VANAULEY SUITE
A downtown Toronto suite reimagined as a calm retreat for a young professional. A full re-design and decorating turned a standard city condo into an urban sanctuary, warm, textural, and grounded, where records spin, plants climb, and the city stays just beyond the glass.
Living Area
Bright and open, with floor-to-ceiling windows and treetop views. A softly curved boucle sofa and matching swivel chairs gather on a textured wool rug around a walnut and marble table, layered with warm rust and olive pillows. A moody flock-in-flight artwork and a black vinyl shelf, turntable and all, give the room real soul and a point of view. Proof that a compact space can still feel considered and full of personality.

Bedroom
A restful, grounded bedroom wrapped in warm oak slats. A deep black textured headboard and olive satin bedding set an enveloping, moody tone, softened by sculptural plaster pendants, a floating walnut nightstand, and a carved wooden horse. Layered natural-fibre and kantha pillows, dried florals, and a few quiet personal objects make it feel calm and completely lived-in. The urban sanctuary, exactly as intended.

Entry & Reading Nook
The entrance makes a warm first impression in a small footprint: a sculptural travertine console, an organic hammered mirror, and a soft boucle stool. Nearby, a reading corner pairs a comfortable chair with a walnut bookshelf and a sheepskin throw, a personal pause carved out of a compact suite. Every corner earns its place.
